Hey everyone, welcome to my AffiloJetpack Review. Many of you will already know that I have been very excited about this new product from Mark Ling for a while and have been working on this AffiloJetpack review for nearly 1 month. The reason I have been excited is because Mark Ling is the reason why I am where I am today. It was Mark Ling that first taught me how to make money online with affiliate marketing just under 2 years ago and since then I have not looked back. So to be asked to actually do an exclusive Affilojetpack Review was like a dream come true. The fact is that as a member of Affilorama (Mark’s very own student forum) and owner of Affiloblueprint (the original product upon which AffiloJetpack is based) I am very well placed to do an in-depth review of what Affilojetpack brings to the table. I have been creating Affilojetpack sites for a long time now, and I guess finally you have the chance to see what all the fuss is about. There are a few issues with AffiloJetpack that we will discuss further on in my review…….To kick things off though I wanted to show you proof that I have had exclusive access to AffiloJetpack:
So what is all the fuss about? Well I will make a promise with you. Just because Mark Ling is the guy who taught me how to make money online does not mean I will be giving him an easy ride with my AffiloJetpack review. On the contrary I am going to be giving you a real view into the workings of Affilojetpack and by the end of this AffiloJetpack review I am sure you too will be an expert on what makes Affilojetpack so important and I think you will have an answer to the question: Is the hype surrounding Affilojetpack justified? I want you to be able to make up your own mind. So, with that being said lets jump straight in and find out what really is under the hood of Affilojetpack.
Who Is Mark Ling?
I think for anything you purchase online and especially when it comes to internet marketing products you should have an idea of who has created it. Many of you will already know who Mark Ling is but for those who have no idea I think a brief primer on the man behind Affilojetpack is in order.
Mark Ling started off online back in 1999. He actually started his online business by creating fan sites dedicated to celebrities before launching himself into affiliate marketing full time. The difference between Mark Ling and 
other so called gurus online is the fact that Mark actually practices what he preaches. Instead of creating ‘Make Money’ style products which could have been very lucrative for him he actually did the opposite and delved deep into niche marketing on a scale that is astounding. Today he is literally in over 70 niches and actually has progressed from simply being an affiliate only to actually being a product owner as well producing products in niches as wide ranging as online dating to learning Spanish online, dog training and even video game sites such as world of warcraft. The sheer range and depth Mark Ling has actually launched himself into affiliate marketing should already show you that he is a guy you should certainly listen to when he tells you how to do affiliate marketing.
The fact is that Mark Ling could simply continue to make millions online as a super affiliate but over the years his passion for teaching others how to create wealth online meant that he diversified his portfolio of sites and created from the ground up a site dedicated to teaching others how to make money online using the techniques he uses every day. That site is Affilorama and through it Mark has managed to really catch the imagination of up and coming marketing newbies as well as seasoned pros. That’s because unlike others in the same field Mark actually cares about what he teaches, he always over delivers and has continued to be at the leading edge of internet marketing, continually improving and pioneering new products to share his affiliate marketing secrets with the masses.
The key product I want to bring your attention to is Affiloblueprint. Since late 2008 through this product he really set the internet marketing world alight with a step by step over the shoulder approach to teaching niche marketing aimed at newbies as well as moderately successful marketers online. I was fortunate enough to stumble upon this course and it literally changed the direction of my online marketing career. Why am I telling you all this? Well Affiloblueprint is literally the blueprint for Affilojetpack. Its the reason Affilojetpack was created. Imagine me and students like me back in late 2008 going through the Affiloblueprint course and asking hundreds of questions on how to set up the sites Mark suggests in his course. Imagine the hurdles we faced as newbies (at least I know I was) when 1st starting out, not knowing even how to set up my Cpanel account properly let alone a proper autoresponder newsletter series. Affilojetpack In-Depth Review
Is that amazing or what? Mark Ling really does like to over deliver but even by his own standards what you really receive in AffiloJetpack is astounding and when you see the price you will know why its such a steal. But I don’t want to just leave you to ponder on what he is giving away without going into a bit more detail about exactly what is on offer in Affilojetpack and why its such a good investment. Lets take a closer look. The first question you may be asking is:
Why Do You Need Affilojetpack?
As we already discussed in some detail above, AffiloJetpack really is Mark Ling’s flagship ‘Affiloblueprint on steroids’. But its actually even more than that and we shall take a look at what I mean just now. So lets take a little detour and actually imagine a few variables. Lets say that today you woke up and decided that you wanted to enter the affiliate marketing arena full steam ahead. So what would you do? Well lets say you read up a bit and got yourself a plan of action it should look something like the following:
1. Do Full Niche Research – This would take some time to complete as you really need to be careful at this stage. It is simply the most IMPORTANT stage in creating an affiliate marketing site. That’s because if you choose the wrong niche you will have a site that just sits there either having too much competition to compete with or on the other hand not enough buying customers for the site to be a viable option for long term income.
2. Keyword Research / Product Analysis – Once you have completed your full niche research your 2nd task would be to narrow the niche down, lets say you chose weight loss as your niche. Within this niche which is quite broad you would then have to actually do full Keyword Research and product analysis to find the best products and keywords to promote. This would entail you actually getting your hands dirty, consulting several keyword research tools and taking at least a few days to really get the hang of what the niche requires from a site to be successful. Again you cant rush this stage as its just as important as choosing the niche. 1 step wrong here and your site would be a sitting duck.
3. Set Up Your Site Using Chosen Platform - OK so you have your niche research and keyword research under your belt. Lets hope you chose the right keywords and niche to enter. Now the Real Work begins (yep this is actually the hard graft bit). You start to set up your site. You need to choose if your going to do it in static HTML (not really a great option unless you know what your doing, and not that great for SEO) or choose a CMS (content management system) like WordPress. If you go the WordPress route you would have to decide what theme you want to use (and most likely buy one), decide how you will set out your affiliate site and which plug-ins are actually useful. All this is done for you in AffiloJetpack. Remember Mark has been doing this for over 10 years. All his experience in what works for site designs as well as making the sale are contained within the AffiloJetpack wordpress theme and the package you get. You may be able to outsource all this at extra cost but for the moment lets say you do the work yourself. You don’t have access to the AffiloJetpack WordPress theme and the ease of use functions that come with it so you would have to choose something that’s 2nd best and hope that it works out for you and perhaps split test your results later on.
4. Create Your Site Content / Articles – OK so your up to step 4 – You finally have your site set up with all its bells and shiny whistles. What now? Well you need content for the site. You sit down and with your keyword research you select 20 keywords to write an article on. You spend the next week or two writing these content rich 500 word articles so that you can place them on your site. You really need good quality articles if you wish to make continuous sales.
5. Create Your Autoresponder Newsletter Series – Tired yet? I am and I’m just typing these steps out but there is still more to do. You see once you have completed the articles you now really have to set up your autoresponder series. Many affiliates forget about this or become lazy at this point. Which is the BIGGEST mistake they make. Over half your sales will come from your list! If you don’t have a good autoresponder newsletter series that offers value to your list you wont make sales. You realise this and grudgingly start to create a newsletter series. How many will you create? 5? 10? 20? OK if you got to 10 you could do on average 2 messages per week for 1 month. Its not really enough to build a relationship with your list and that will hurt your sales in a big way. Really you need at least 1 years worth of newsletters that are content rich and designed in such a way that you build a close and trusting relationship with your subscriber. By doing that you become an authority in your niche and the sales will come naturally.
6. Create Your Squeeze Page / Create Your Own Ebook or Free Report - OK some how you actually got a bit more than 10 newsletters done and you placed them in your autoresponder service and created an email optin box on your site too. Now you need to create a squeeze page and actually have something to give away to your list. Something to attract the list in the 1st place. You don’t start magically with 1000 people you build it over time. How do you do that you ask? Well you basically have to offer your potential subscribers something of value. Something they will cherish, and something that will help them with their problems. So do you create your own ebook? Is it going to be of a high enough quality that you would be proud to put your own name or your sites name on it? Remember if they sign up and get your ebook and think its full of useless information they can and will easily un-subscribe. So much for loyalty. So you sit there and produce your own 20 page ebook, 7000 words long, well researched for the niche and packed full of information as well as slick to look at.
7. Create Your Traffic Generation Plan / Choose SEO or PPC – Wow after all this work your nearly a master of your niche! That’s the good part. The bad part is all this has taken you at least 8 to 10 weeks to achieve. What now you ask? Well the main task of getting visitors to your site begins. Without them actually finding your site or visiting nobody will click on your email opt-in box and nobody will click on your links sending them to your wonderful affiliate products. So now you sit down and devise a plan of action for SEO or if you have some cash left you pile it into PPC in the hope it sticks and you start getting sales or at least some sign ups to your list.
8. Time To Rinse & Repeat – What’s Step 8 you ask? Well lets assume you actually started making a small profit on your sites (I really hope after all that effort you did) and that you did not need any help or support or guidance along the way. Well step 8 is very simple then. You rinse and repeat. Yep that’s right, you go back to Go and you collect $200 (or whatever your 1st site is making) and you plough it into your 2nd site. Do you see the pattern here? Lets assume being generous that your not like me (it took me 14 weeks for my 1st site but I was very wet behind the ears) and it takes you on average 12 weeks, or 11 at best the 1st time around. The 2nd time will be faster so maybe you could hope to have your 2nd site up in 8 weeks? Maybe 7 weeks at best if you do all the work yourself. That means on average it would take you about 40 weeks of work to complete 5 Affilojetpack style sites although they would not be Affilojetpack style sites really since you would not be using the techniques, themes, advice and direction of Mark Ling who is an expert in this field. But all the same, it would take you just under the best part of a year to complete 5 sites if you did all the work yourself.
So you see, after all those steps the type of work that goes into creating these Affilojetpack style sites from scratch and I am not including any time off, or problems that crop up along the way and trust me even if your not new at creating affiliate sites there are always problems and questions that need answering. Where would you turn to for all this?
Well I can honestly say without Mark Ling and his Affilorama forum I would probably have given up ages ago. And this is exactly the same system I have used myself to create my own sites. Yes I started outsourcing early on after the 1st site but even then I pay a lot of money to create these sites. Lets take a little look at my figures which is the average after many months of tweaking to get my costs down:
I pay on average for 1 site the following:
- $400 for content to be written
- $100 for my site to be set up the way I want it including banners, plugins etc (which includes my AffiloJetpack theme which I use on all my niche affiliate marketing sites)
- $100 for a good bonus package/free report/ebook to give away to my list
- $400 – $600 for a years worth of AffiloJetpack style content rich newsletters for my autoresponder
The Grand Total Per Site Is: $1200
Now I can get better rates than this buy doing things in bulk which I have been doing but you wont just get those kind of rates right off the bat. It takes time to cultivate a relationship with your outsourcing team and I can probably get away with paying around $800-$900 per AffiloJetpack site when I do things on a big scale. Even then that is per AffiloJetpack site. So how much would you pay for 5 AffiloJetpack style sites? I am willing to bet without knowledge of where to outsource and how to do it properly and without getting ripped off it would be much higher than what I pay currently and that’s after nearly 2 years of me doing this.
So what’s the moral of the story? If you want to create a ton of niche marketing sites just the way Mark Ling himself does and have the benefit of knowing that you are creating sites Mark himself creates, the knowledge your creating it in the right niche, using the right keywords, have the support of Mark’s entire AffiloJetpack team as well as the support of his students and himself in his very own Affilorama forums then probably the question you should be asking is not why you need AffiloJetpack but when can you get AffiloJetpack. As you can see I laid out the basic bare bone steps you would need to take to create a similar AffiloJetpack site yourself. Its hard work and that’s before you begin making money.
